A 6 year old Independent Bottling by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society (SMWS) of a single cask from Melbourne's Starward Distillery - 148.1 'Apera for Everyone!' This whisky was distilled on 27th of November 2013 and laid to rest in a first fill ex-Apera Barrique for 6 years - the oldest private bottling ever released by Starward Distillery - before being bottled in 2020 at 58.3% ABV. One of only 210 botttles.
The first ever release of Starward from world renowned independent bottler the Scotch Malt Whisky Society. This cask is called "Apera For Everyone' and is a 7 year old distilled in 2013 and matured in a 1st fill apera barrique. A very hotly anticipated bottle, only 30 bottles were released internationally with the rest of the cask exclusively available to Australian SMWS members. Being a '.1' and highly collectible, this bottle will alwaus be in high demand.

Tasting Notes
- Colour: Golden-brown treacle.
- Nose: At first, that big fruity Apera hit, but then a nuttiness emerges, along with a slightly leathery herbaceousness. After time, some berries and cherry notes With a few drops of water, more fruit, with pear and some peach showing through.
- Palate: Initially: wow. Big apricot and peach notes, then chewy milkbottle lollies, caramel chews, fresh toffee and Manuka honey. Water adds a little herbal smoke and vanilla cream. Incredibly complex and delicious.
- Finish: Warming, soft, and lasting for days, with apricot and fruit compote.
